Several years ago Leah Cairns starred in a commercial for the Canadian White Spot restaurants. The spot is about a woman (Chelah Horsdal) and a man (Peter Benson) who are on a date. She thinks he's Mr. Predictable until he orders something she never expected and on top of that has brought her flowers. Leah Cairns plays the waitress who takes the order.

As a beginning actress Leah Cairns worked as a waitress in a restaurant in Vancouver called "Nevermind". When she finally got some roles they turned out to be a waitresses too, like in this commercial for White Spot and as Jenna, a waitress in "Godiva's".
